Universities at War: WWI Memorials Workshop

In this workshop your students will spend a day at Newcastle University learning how to research the people named on a war memorial.

This workshop focuses on the war memorial in the University's Armstrong Building but the skills your students learn during this workshop can be applied to war memorials nearer to school or home. Students will be shown how to use online search tools to find out about the fallen and will also use archival resources in the University Library.
